Terms & Conditions

Key Points

  • Check your artwork and data carefully before approval — we print exactly what is approved

  • Let us know within 5 working days if anything is faulty, damaged, or not as described

  • Custom printed items can’t be returned unless there is a fault

  • Stock items can be returned within 30 days if unused and in original condition

  • Our liability is limited to the value of the goods supplied

1. General

These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed with Hunter Operations Ltd. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

We supply both custom-made products produced to customer specification and stock items sold as listed on our website or quotation.


2. Orders and Approval

All orders are subject to acceptance by Hunter Operations Ltd.

For custom products, production will only begin once artwork and order details have been approved. Approval confirms that all content, spelling, quantities, and specifications are correct.

Any changes requested after approval may not be possible and, where they are, may incur additional costs or impact delivery timelines.


3. Product Quality and Faults

We take care to ensure all products are produced and supplied to a high standard, in line with approved artwork, order details, or product descriptions.

If you believe your order is faulty, damaged, or not as described, please notify us as soon as possible and no later than within 5 working days of delivery.

If the issue is confirmed as our responsibility, we will, acting reasonably, choose to:

  • replace the affected items

  • provide a partial refund

  • provide a full refund

We may request photographs or return of goods before confirming the resolution.


4. Print, Colour and Production Variations

Due to the nature of print and manufacturing, minor variations may occur in:

  • colour

  • alignment

  • positioning

  • material finish

  • size tolerances

Colours may differ from on-screen proofs, and repeat orders may show slight variation between batches.

These variations are normal and will not usually be treated as faults.


5. Artwork and Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for checking all artwork and order details before approval, including names, spelling, dates, barcodes, and QR codes. 

Please check your data carefully before approval. Even small errors can be difficult for anyone other than the data owner to spot, so this step is essential to ensure everything is correct before we proceed to print.

Hunter Operations Ltd is not responsible for errors in approved artwork or incorrect information supplied by the customer.


6. Product Suitability

We are always happy to advise on product choices based on our experience.

However, we do not guarantee suitability for a specific purpose unless agreed in writing.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the products ordered are appropriate for their intended use unless we have confirmed suitability in writing.


7. Pricing and Payment

All prices are as quoted or listed at the time of order and are subject to VAT where applicable.

Payment terms will be agreed at the point of order. Unless otherwise agreed:

  • payment may be required in advance for new customers or custom orders

  • credit terms may be offered to approved customers

We reserve the right to withhold production or dispatch until payment has been received.


8. Ownership of Goods

All goods remain the property of Hunter Operations Ltd until paid for in full.


9. Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders in line with agreed timelines.

Delivery dates are estimated unless confirmed otherwise in writing. While we do everything we can to meet deadlines, we cannot accept liability for delays caused by couriers or circumstances outside our control.

Delivery is complete when goods arrive at the delivery address provided.


10. Lost, Delayed or Damaged Deliveries

If your order is lost, delayed, or arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible.

Where a parcel is confirmed as lost in transit, or goods are damaged during delivery, we will work with you and the courier to resolve the issue. This may include a replacement or refund, depending on the situation.

Photographic evidence may be required to support claims.


11. Replacement Timescales

Where a replacement is agreed due to a confirmed fault or delivery issue, we will prioritise production where possible.

Timescales will depend on product type, artwork requirements, stock availability, and delivery method. While we will always aim to meet your required deadline, this cannot be guaranteed.


12. Returns and Refunds

Returns are accepted within 30 days of the order date, subject to the following:

  • items must be unused and in original condition

  • custom printed or bespoke items are non-returnable unless faulty

  • stock items must be suitable for resale

Refunds will only be issued for unused items or where goods are confirmed as faulty.

Refunds will be processed once returned goods have been received and inspected.


13. Shortages

Any shortages in delivered quantities must be reported within 5 working days of delivery.


14. Cancellations

Custom or personalised orders cannot usually be cancelled once production has started.

Stock item orders may be cancelled prior to dispatch. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to request a cancellation.


15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the value of the goods supplied.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profits, loss of business, or event disruption.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded.


16. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failure caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including courier disruption, supplier issues, industrial action, or extreme weather.


17. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
